What size C&C cage do I need for 2 guinea pigs?
For two guinea pigs, we generally recommend a 2x4 C&C cage as a starting point. Larger cages provide more room for exercise, enrichment, hideouts and natural behaviours.
Are your C&C cages made in Australia?
Our corflute bases are cut in-house at our Kilsyth, Victoria store, and every cage kit is assembled and quality checked by our Melbourne team. While the cube grids are sourced internationally, each cage is carefully prepared and packed in Australia.
What is included in a Bree & Co C&C cage kit?
Our cage kits typically include cube grids, connectors and a custom-cut corflute base. Many customers also choose to add handmade fleece liners, hideouts, beds and accessories to complete their setup.
Can I use fleece liners with your cages?
Yes. Our handmade fleece liners are designed to fit many of our most popular C&C cage sizes, providing a comfortable and easy-to-maintain housing solution for guinea pigs.
Do you sell spare parts and replacement grids?
Yes. We stock a range of spare parts, accessories and add-ons, making it easy to expand or maintain your cage over time.
Are C&C cages suitable for baby guinea pigs?
Yes, although younger guinea pigs should always be supervised and appropriate grid spacing should be used. C&C cages provide plenty of room for growth, exercise and enrichment.
Why choose a C&C cage instead of a pet shop cage?
C&C cages offer significantly more floor space than many traditional pet shop cages. They are modular, easy to expand, provide excellent ventilation and allow guinea pigs to display more natural behaviours.
Can I expand my cage later?
Yes. One of the biggest advantages of C&C cages is their flexibility. Additional grids and accessories can be added as your needs change.
Do you offer custom cage sizes?
Yes. We offer a range of sizes and can often assist with custom configurations. If you're looking for a specific size or setup, contact our team and we'll be happy to help.
Can I visit your store?
Yes. We're a proudly Australian family owned and operated business located in Kilsyth, Victoria. You're welcome to visit our store for advice, support, spare parts and accessories.
