Three Resting Options for Hot Weather

Managing your rabbit’s comfort during summer is about providing choice rather than cooling the entire enclosure.

The bare C&C Cage Kitchenette provides a firm surface where your rabbit can stretch out. The Large Ice Pack creates a chilled resting area, while the Medium Cuddle Mat provides a softer option when your rabbit wants additional comfort.

Because the three products are separate, your rabbit can move between the cool tray, covered ice pack and soft mat whenever it wants.

A Large Ice Pack Designed to Fit Inside the Tray

The Large Ice Pack measures 23cm x 38cm and fits inside the 68cm x 42cm kitchenette tray with room around it.

Placing the ice pack inside the tray helps stop it from sliding around the enclosure. The corflute tray also catches condensation that may otherwise reach your rabbit’s fleece liner or enclosure floor.

The reusable ice brick sits inside its handmade fleece cover, creating a more comfortable surface for your rabbit to sit or lie beside.

Why the Kitchenette Is Supplied Bare

The C&C Cage Kitchenette is intentionally supplied without a fleece liner. The bare corflute provides the firm resting surface that makes this pack useful during warmer weather.

Adding a fleece liner would place an insulating layer over the tray and reduce direct access to the cooler surface.

A compatible kitchenette liner can be purchased separately if you would like to use the tray as a traditional lined kitchenette during cooler weather.

A Soft Option for Everyday Comfort

The Medium Cuddle Mat measures 48cm x 37cm and provides a comfortable alternative to the firm tray and chilled ice pack.

It is handmade from soft fleece with an absorbent core and non-slip backing. The mat is machine washable, making it practical for regular use inside your rabbit’s enclosure.
