Rather than a review, I have questions. Your Snugglesafe is marketed as a warmer for small pets, but we are using it very successfully as a hot water bottle replacement for humans. Advantages: Doesn’t leak like a hot water bottle can (unless heated for five times the recommended time, which is an adequate buffer for all reasonable users), doesn’t catch fire as a wheat bag can, and stays warm for most of the night as neither of the others do. We understand that there is human version with a different name, but it is only available in the UK. So the first question: Is there any difference between the human and pet versions, or is it just the same product with a different name to satisfy humans who think they are different from guinea pigs? And the second question: I suspect that the long warming time is due to phase change technology, but the instructions do not make the way it works clear. Any comment?
Wanted to support a small business rather than a large brand corporation and bought from here. Received the 2 x pads I ordered quite quickly. These are my first time using these for under each guinea pig’s igloo hidey for the colder nights we are having. They are absolutely in love with it! Much safer than using covered hot water bottles. I heat them up for 8mins and set them under their sherpa blankets with the igloo’s on top at do this around 8pm and they are still warm the next morning when I do their breakfast around 7am, normally my pigs are up waiting in the kitchenette for breakfast but every morning even when its freezing, but since having these they are still cuddled up in their igloo’s enjoying their warm beds. Definitely worth the purchase!!
