Description
Oxbow Simple Rewards Peppermint treats – fresh, minty snack guinea pigs love
Oxbow Simple Rewards Peppermint treats 85g are soft, bite-sized, mint-based snacks for guinea pigs, rabbits and small animals. Made with real peppermint, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives — just pure, natural freshness that makes training, bonding or daily rewards fun and healthy.
Guinea pig owners love how these treats are gentle on sensitive digestive systems and small mouths. They’re soft enough for young or older piggies, and the cool peppermint flavour is irresistible for picky eaters. Use a few pieces for positive reinforcement during handling, litter training or foraging games, or hide them in hay to encourage natural behaviour. The 85g resealable bag keeps treats fresh, and it’s sourced from Oxbow’s trusted formula — now available with fast shipping from our Australian warehouse.
These treats complement unlimited hay and fresh veggies perfectly. They’re small enough not to fill up your pet, but packed with natural mint flavour to keep guinea pigs engaged and happy. A great way to add variety without upsetting their balanced diet.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Oxbow Simple Rewards Peppermint treats safe for guinea pigs?
Yes — made with real peppermint, no artificial colours or flavours, and gentle on sensitive tummies.
How many treats should I give my guinea pig per day?
2–4 pieces as a reward or treat — keep it small so it doesn’t replace hay and veggies.
Are these treats suitable for rabbits too?
Yes — soft texture and natural peppermint flavour are great for rabbits and other small animals.
Do they help with training guinea pigs?
Absolutely — the fresh peppermint flavour motivates most guinea pigs during handling or litter training.
How long does an 85g bag last?
An 85g bag usually lasts 4–10 weeks for 1–2 guinea pigs, depending on how often you use them.
Are there any artificial additives?
No — Oxbow uses only natural ingredients and timothy grass base.
How should I store the treats?
Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness and softness.
Australia-wide shipping time?
Most orders arrive 2–5 business days from our warehouse.
